DJs Are Back on the Air

Payton Holding a Snake

Starting tomorrow February 2nd at around 1:00 pm, the DJs here at KWTS will be back on the air. We have a lot of familiar voices back on the mic, while we do have new people coming in to bring a breath of fresh air to the airwaves. The entire staff is excited to hear what could potentially be the future voices of this station showcasing their skills and excitement to you the listeners.

Last week was the beginning of the first week of special shows coming on the air. We had some excitement from Cinema Talk speaking about the new Batman vs. Superman movie to Live From the Basement opening our ears to unknown hip-hop/rap artists. Oh and not to mention our Sports Director and PM in the AM Co-Host Payton Northrup holding a snake and conquering his fear of them.

This week will be the first week for you guys to call the studio at 806-651-2911 to request songs you want to hear and go on Twitter using the hashtag (#KWTSrequest) to request songs to @kwtsradio. Also, if you want to learn more about the station, make sure to come to the Jack B. Kelley Building at West Texas A&M University Wednesday, February 3rd from 8 am-2 pm to meet the staff and help us remember the day that music died when rock and roll stars Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and J.P. Richardson were killed in a plane crash back in 1959. We are all looking forward to the beginning of an awesome semester and as always, keep it locked to the station for your generation, The One 91.1 FM!!!!
